Rogue River House was constructed in the shadows of a regional pine forest that still exists today. The grounds were professionally landscaped with native trees and flowering shrubs, and grassy areas in both the front and back yards, all in a beautiful park-like setting.
The large pine trees are trimmed and inspected periodically to reduce the risk of a tree falling.
Irrigation is provided by the local water district and is distributed via an 11-station Hunter electric irrigation system.
The property also features paved walking paths all around the house.

The home fronts the Rogue River and offers direct physical access to the water via a private access path to the viewing stand and private beach.
The grounds are an entertainer’s delight with fantastic views of the river from the decks and patios surrounding the pool, very secluded and secure, ideal for family gatherings, pool parties, intimate dinners or even a wedding.
Get your exercise or walk the dog along the Irrigation District’s maintenance road which runs along the river up and down for about 2.5 miles in length. This path/road is accessible for use only by adjacent landowners.
Observe the action on the river from your own viewing deck – bald eagles and ospreys “fishing” the river, Canadian geese flying in formation, rafters and fishermen lazily floating by on their way down the river, salmon on their annual migration to spawn, black-tailed deer, wild turkeys and maybe a jackrabbit coming by for a visit. There’s always something to see on the river.
You might fish for salmon or steelhead from the private beach or launch your own raft or kayak for a float.

Bring your catch back to the house to BBQ poolside as you swim, relax in lounge chairs, and enjoy the view in the expansive pool deck and patio areas.
A solar panel on the roof — replaced a few years ago — heats the pool to 80+ degrees in the summer. In winter the heater is shut off.
For the winter months, the pool has a professionally installed pool cover mounted into the concrete pool deck.
